The local estuaries are nice, clean and green and have warmed up well so we are approaching the peak season especially if we do not have any heavy thunderstorms to discolour the water. The Nahoon has been producing but it is the Gonubie which is in the spotlight. The skipjack have made an appearance and the highlight has been a couple of ignobilis kingfish in the 5 to 6 kg range. Also there are lots of baitfish in the estuaries. As usual there are also kob and grunter around.
