It is still very dry and we have not had the rain that they have had further west in places like PE and the Garden Route. Despite this most of the estuaries are open but the flows are very slight and of course the water is very clear. There has not been much fly fishing as this only really picks up in October. However, small shad have been taken and we have also had reports of kob.
